FENTY X PUMA BY RIHANNA SS17

FENTY X PUMA BY RIHANNA SS17 COLLECTION OUT NOW

While the world watched the Autumn Winter 2017 FENTYxPUMA collection in Paris last month, fans can now get their fix as the Spring-Summer 2017 collection has now hit the stores. Previewed last September at Paris Fashion Week, the coveted collection – a delectable mash-up of 18th Century French Rococo and Neo Classical flair with athletic street styling, is now within your grasp with new arrivals launching every month through June.

The Spring 2017 collection apropos for the season stuns in a mélange of extravagant fabrics, intricate ruffles and pleating, Chinoiserie, corsets galore, playful bows and gender bending silhouettes in a delicate colour palette of blush, mint green, lavender, pink, blush and white. PUMA’s sport heritage echoes through as Rihanna brilliantly reimagined and transformed traditional track suits, boxing robes, tennis dresses, polos and iconic footwear silhouettes.

“It is as if Marie Antoinette went to the gym!” Rihanna says about the collection. She adds, “I’m very thrilled to finally see the collection out there. It was such a fun and rewarding experience to create the collection and seeing it come alive on the runway and in our campaign. Now, I can’t wait for everyone to wear it their own way, mix and match and represent their FENTY X PUMA favorites in their everyday style.”

First to release are head-turning footwear styles that caused a ruckus in the fashion world when they first graced the Paris runway. The FENTY x PUMA Bow Slides in olive branch and silver pink elevates lounge and poolside wear to a whole new level with the softest leather material and statement oversized bow. The theme continues with the FENTY x PUMA Bow Sneaker, a femme fatal hybrid of PUMA’s iconic Trinomic runner also in olive branch and silver pink.

The tough as nails FENTY x PUMA Sneaker Boot Zip takes a platform chunky style to a new level with its zip closure, satin and leather overlays. Rounding up this foursome is the FENTY x PUMA Lace Up Heel in silver pink, aleutian, and sesame. Wrapped in premium leather with the PUMA Formstrip playfully curved along the upper, this strappy sneaker stiletto gives you the license to be bad.

New arrivals of the beloved SS17 apparel, footwear and accessories will continue to release at retail in April through June. Covetable must-have pieces such as the Bow Bag, Fleece Off Shoulder Hoodie, Hoody w/ Slip and Reversible Bomber will soon be yours.  Show stoppers like the Tiered Jackets, countless custom PUMA Jacquard pieces, soft lingerie inspired separates and Embroidery Tricot jackets and bottoms will soon become your favorite spring items. And new introductions of FENTY favorites like the iconic CREEPER, FUR SLIDE and THE TRAINER will be on your feet in no time.

To unveil the collection, Rihanna creative directed the SS17 campaign with the PUMA and FENTY teams. She brought on board iconic photographer Tim Walker to capture the energy and essence of the FENTY brand and spring collection. Stylist Jacob K helped to reimagine the collection on this season’s cast of characters –models Clarie Yurika Davis, Geron McKinley, Zaina Muiccia, Demi Scott, Joshua Willams and Slick Woods, – who each brought the right attitude and vibe to add life to the campaign and collection.

The SS17 Collection will launch worldwide on March 9th. Consumers will be able to pick up their Spring favorites this month through June, with new arrivals launching each month.
